If I make a nand back up that has my nnid and downloadable games and never go online while in atmosphere and flash back current nand when wanting to play online is that the safest way to not get banned on atmosphere?

Yes, if you have created the NAND backup before using any CFW.

Yeah, that's the safest way to go about it, delete your network connections before backing up your nand just to be extra safe and never connect to a network once you taint your switch with cfw.

If you update, make sure you use choidujournx so you don't burn your fuses past 7.0.1 so you have an easier time when you want to restore back to your clean nand. Remember that your nand backup will restore to the exact point your switch was backed up, any savegame progress made after that point will need to be backed up using checkpoint or edizon

What method should I use to block internet connections I also have a comcast modem router so I dont know if the DNS option will work? I assume Nintendo still tries to detect some activity somehow

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
