Hardware Has Gamepad Battery life been a problem for you?

I'm wondering if the Nyko one is just a pipe dream if the official one only raises the capacity that much. (well looks like there's still room for more judging from the shape of the official one)

Yeah, I hope it's real. It is saying it is available online only....I was thinking of skipping it because the Uboost has solved my battery issues so far but I went ahead and ordered from gamestop. I guess I just want to see if it actually ships....the damn thing is practically a Unicorn in my mind.

The Nintendo battery is not as big as Nykos. The image of Nykos shows 4000 mAh and claims triple battery life while Nintendo is saying 8 hours and 2550 mAh.

I guess their is always the fear the third party device might fry your gamepad though.....Nyko makes good products right?

Looks like Gamestop has also knocked $5 of the Uboost now as well.

Damn, I am glad I ordered it when I did but I will believe it when I see it. It said it should ship by tomorrow and that I will not be charged until then.

It is my understanding they did release limited quantities before. I watched a youtube video a guy made reviewing the Uboost and he actually had a powerpak that he showed and mentioned it getting it before it went out of stock.

Just dumped a fresh batch in the rainforest. I also broke some open and spread the battery acid around, just to speed up the process.

Mine arrived today as well. I saw on amazon they are selling for $50, maybe I should sell mine. I heard amazon pre orders had not shipped which is messed up since they are selling stock for double price.
