Hacking Has anyone tested Wiipower's IOS60 wad manager?

Users like me, who only installed IOS60 w/o IOS249 before installing the 4.0 update are (hopefully were) fucked...

Has anyone managed to successfully install IOS36-64-v1042 with this? And managed to install wads using the normal wad manager & IOS downgrader hereafter??

Also looking for a IOS60 wad manager file mirror as RS has exceeded its download quota

Hi, are you sure this is wiipower's wad manager? I opened it and it looks like a ISO lanucher (softchip)

this doen't seem to be the same file that wiipower uploaded

the files in your zip archive are modified on 27/3

how are we supposed to use this?

also the rapidshare number 214XXXXXX suggests that this is an older upload than the one from wiipower 215XXXXXX

Ok guys, it doesn't work. I tried installing a wiiware game and it aborts with an ERROR (ret = -1029)

when installing title or ticket

with the previous wad i got ticket error now i get title error

I also recently made my own WAD Manager version to load IOS60 if CIOS is not found

This is based on 1.3 sourcecode.
Sourcecode has been modified to compile with the last versions of libogc/libfat if that helps


I've uploaded it here:
Feel free to test it and to reupload it somewhere else (sources included)

YOU OBVIOUSLY NEED A PATCHED IOS60 INSTALLED

(or CIOS or still being under 3.2)

i tested your wad manager

it says IOS60 found and loaded!
but
opening wad file ERROR!

so this one doesn't goes as far as installing the ticket but fails to open the wad

What were you trying to install? For me it was a wiiware game. It aborted as a title error.. what's the previous wad you meant?

I tried installing 2 wiiware and 2 vc

It seems as it is...IOS60 cannot be used for Wad manager even if it was trucha patched................sorry guys

unless Jacobien or Wiipower can get it to work using some method i don't even pretend to begin to know i guess its a waiting game.
