would it be helpful if i created a quick video showing the hakchi features like customizing folder art and sorting games into folders?

STEPS TO MAKE THE CORRECT CHANGE FROM THE UPDATE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT USED MORE THAN CLUSTER "RELEASE" VERSIONS AND HAVE NOT USED RETROARCH

We just created a folder called hakchi2 2.12
We decompressed the contents of the 2.12 zip of hakchi2.zip into that new folder.
Let's go to our old hakchi2 folder.
We copy the \dump \games folders to the root of our folder called hakchi2 2.12.
We also copied from our old version of hakchi2 the config.ini file and copied it into our folder called hakchi2 2.12 in \config

We open hakchi and enjoy.

PEOPLE WHO WILL HAVE VERSION 2.11 WITH SOME PCM PACK TO USE THE MADMONKEY RETROARCH BINARY
I recommend the following in your case. If you had important cores, bios or roms in your RetroArch folder (\hakchi2\games\CLV-H-RARCH) save them somewhere, we will delete them correctly.
Open the program hakchi2 We look for the game "RetroArch" and with the right button we choose to delete (This should delete all the contents of the folder \CLV-H-RARCH)
We close the hakchi2 to save the changes in the list of games.
We do exactly the same steps as in the previous point.

PEOPLE WHO HAD VERSION 2.12 RC WITH OR WITHOUT PCM PACK.
Well man, the truth is that if you got here, do you need a tutorial?

How to add the RA module in 2.12 Helpss !!!
Maybe in this case is better than watching the video from the minute 11:50. ;)

I have folder icons for each system (Google) but the way the hui works right now it doesn't look as nice and smooth as I would have hoped. You really want 6+ icons per screen or ita just awkward. I'll send a video soon to show what I mean.

Also taking recommendations for must have SNES, Game Gear, and SEGA ROMs. Like your #1-5 for each.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also glupen64 core won't load. Anyone able to get it to load?

SNES
Note: I don't have too much experience out of the major games.

Think I figured it out. Uploading new mod now to confirm.

Just made a quick mod of the RetroArch mod. I don't like video smoothing so just disabled it in the config file. If someone don't want video smoothing and something near pixel perfect (like the NES games) use this.

Just unzip and move the folder to user_mods. http://www.filedropper.com/retroarch-nosmoothhmod
That sounds like something I was really wanting. Thanks.

to confirm, after unzipping I should move the entire "retroarch-no_smooth.hmod" folder to "user_mods"?

EDIT:
I'm probably asking questions that have really obvious answers but am I replacing the original "retroarch" module with the one created?

I hope the tutorial with video in Spanish can be helpful to some of us like was to Anthony. Was so useful than we is making her own video. If I was a English person I wait for @Tootyuk videos for the best.

Looks like we can't add folder images. We can only use the ones that are within the program. I might be wrong.

Can't you just change the default images to the ones you want if you access the retro arch folder rather than doing it in the program? I thought that if you replaced them with new images with the same name it would work.

Loving the custom folders!

Of course you can... just put your custom folder image in the "folder_images" folder and when you get to the custom folder options, just click on the folder itself and it will bring up a box that allows you to change it... since your custom folder icon will be in the folder, you will be able to choose it... works like a charm!

Hey guys, I'm using hakchi2 v2.11 and I've already hacked my nes mini, but when I try to do my buddies mini, it's not taking the custom kernel at all. It's going thru the entire process and says it's done, but when I plug in to verify it's just the same old set of included games. Any help would be appreciated, TY!
