Hacking H&S Injection with a downgraded GW O3DS

Hi,

Following the latest Plailect guide dumping H&S gave me an error about fragmentation. That can be fixed defragging the CTRNAND. It then succeeds dumping H&S.

But when I try to inject FBI_inject_with_banner.app decrypt9 says it has succeeded but in reality the H&S app is still the same regular 3DS one.

Any advice on how to proceed? I've seen a few threads with people having the same issue but I've not found any solution. Thanks!

EDIT: Also in the guide it mentions that I can remove firmware.bin after updating the 3DS. I've updated it to the latest version (11.0.0-33E) but if I remove firmware.bin Luma doesn't boot (An old unsupported FIRM has been detected. copy firmware.bin in /luma to boot)

I restored my backup up 9.2 NAND from before the Gateway downgrade using decrypt9 and now everything works fine

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
