That's right! There are quite a many differences between GBA and DS scripts. When Ace Attorney was ported from GBA to DS in Japan, they added tons of flashes, shakes and sounds to make it livelier. Same is with the DS scripts. Also, in the English DS scripts, some scenes were added, which we have to add in manually. Nevertheless, we have worked hard when we could and we are making progress. Currently the priority is to have it fully playable in English, so that's what we're working on. You can expect case 3 to be released soon

H3rmit and Spazzery are currently working on case 3, 3-3 and 3-4 if am not mistaken, the script for that case is pretty huge, so it's normal it would take quite the time to translate

You could try my spanish translation as well, it has a completely different script from the official DS one and it's more loyal to the original japanese ^-^

There's a limit on how I can tolerate liberties on script. I'm fine with localized names. I prefer a 1:1 official NDS to GBA translation even if when I load the text appears kinda buggy. English T&T proved that, and has its own charm.

Send it anyway, I want to judge your progress.

Um, so i'm having an issue with the GS3 patch. So, i'm running it using the 3DS GBA VC (which is supposed to have perfect compatibility) and, the screen is kinda bugged. Like, the very top is at the very bottom. I'm to lazy to take a pic rn (it's 0:20) but if i remember it tomorrow, i'll take a pic. I have tried 2 different roms with no luck.
Update: Game doesn't have that issue when using a GBA emulator for 3DS, it's probably the VC itself.

Have you run other games through the GBA VC?

It is common for problems like that to occur on large SD cards that have not been formatted with 64k clusters.

I'll check that tomorrow, it's nearly 1AM. I'm using a 128GB microSD card btw.

I LOVE this series, especially the original three games, and I also love the Gameboy Advance as a system so much - its sad that I've never been able to combine those two loves and play these games in the way that they were originally created on the GBA. I was super excited to see this project moving forward again after all this time, and I hope a full English version with the official NDS scripts are made available on GBA some day!

I don't mean to discourage you, but this is quite pointless since the NDS versions are available and far superior to the GBA versions.

No, there isn't. So far, GS3 has been completed and GS1 is halfway done (2 or of 4 cases).

Once GS1 has been completed, we will move on to GS2.

That's something the judge should say, right?
Also, you could elaborate a little bit more on which part of the game does those 2 errors appear, so it's easier for h3rmit and Spazzery to find it and fix it ^-^
