Use a Matrix or Coolrunner Rev C. I have a written tut in the sticky guide

Thanks for the info. I just checked the dashboard version, it's 2.0.17502.0, so that means it's dashboard 17502 right? Do I need to use RGH2 chips to mod it? Or does Coolrunner Rev C still works? Thanks.

My bad, its RGH 1.2. Probably should have mentioned that ...

Either the Matrix or Coolrunner will work, but the Matrix is cheaper.

Damaged the board beyond repair?
But yes, that one can be used.
I don't know, I can't check rn. But when I was getting the epoxy out, I knocked out some capacitors and scrached the board and when I tried ejecting the drive it tried to eject but it didn't work. Then I soldered one wire to one point that supposedly fixed the tray not ejecting issue but I ripped the pad off (maybe too much heat? it was set at 350°C) .
At this point I think it's much easing just to buy another board instead of fiddling with the one, as I would have to drill anyway bc it's a windbond.

Yeh, flash the keys to the replacement PCB and you'll be fine.
Is it an issue if my drive is 0225 and the pcb i'm buying is 9504? Also where can I find a guide for writing the key to the drive and would I need to install a custom firmware it says it comes with lt2?

Can someone help identify this motherboard? The production date is 2009 Oct, so I'm pretty sure it's a Jasper. But if anyone is familiar please help confirm. Thanks.

Should be working fine.
I've got a v0.4 install and it works correctly.

Thanks for the link. I downloaded that version of the J-Runner, I was able to dump the NAND initially. Then I continue to program the Cool Runner Rev C, then solder in the CR Rev C (bridged JP and 2-3). But now I'm at the point where I'm supposed to connect the JR Programmer V2 to write Xell onto the Nand. It says NAND not found.

I see that the light ont he JR Programmer V2 is red. I resoldered the wires to the JR Prog V2 and it's still red. I tried writting the NAND anyways but it give me the error "Device Not Found" in J-Runner v.0.5. So I'm not sure where to go now. Did I kill the NAND chip? Or just the JR Programmer V2?

This is how it looks like with JR Programmer V2 and Cool Runner Rev C installed, power plugged in and JRP V2 plugged into PC.

JR Programmer V2 switches positions.

JR Programmer V2 soldering points, it worked when I first dumped the NAND, so it should be correct.
