so every time i try to convert roms using the neodsconvert executable, it never converts them, idk if im using the wrong type of rom, or the executable just doesnt work, if you can help me, then tell me what to do, or something

You can convert it, I've already tried it, and it works.

- Maybe you're using the wrong BIOS.
- Maybe you're using the wrong ROM.
- Maybe the ROM filename is wrong. (For 'Neo Bomberman', the correct file name should be 'neobombe'.)
- Maybe the file format in the ROM(ZIP archive) are wrong. (The files in the ZIP should be '.bin' format, you can just rename them.)
It seems to only support MAME names.

turns out i had to get an old mame romset for it to convert :/ it took me longer than it should to find one, thanks for helping!You can convert it, I've already tried it, and it works.

You don’t need an 'old mame romset'.
You can just find any rom online, and then manually rename the 'rom filename' and the 'files format inside the zip'.
i made an account to say that i too cannot figure out how to convert it, and when i do, there are files in the video like .bat that i am missing. lmk if you figure out a simple way to convert these. idk why ppl wont just share the already converted files. at least i have metal slug 7 on ds and a couple versions on the ps2 to keep me occupied for a while.
