"Zelnick said that the DS game is no longer guaranteed to be released by the end of first quarter of the 2009 fiscal year, which is January 31, 2009. It is now promised to be released in the first half of the fiscal year, which ends in April."

I'm sure people will piss and moan about this but to me this means that they're gonna spend more time on it making it a better game rather than just a spin off on the DS.

It could be released in the end of summer next year, and I wouldn't care.

Like you said, they're probably making it better, smoothing things out.

I got CoD, and tons of other games to keep me busy till then though, o.o

I also have a feeling people will get mad by this news. But when the time comes, they'll be glad they waited.

Oh well, I'm not really looking forward to it anyway. I doubt it will be that good. I'm glad that they take their time for it, so it can at least become an enjoyable game.

QFT, when games come out of the blue and say they're coming out in under half a year, they're lying.
I mean look what happened to Lord Of The Rings: Conquest. They said it was coming out this month not too long ago (and we only found out about the game about half a year ago), now we have no idea when it's coming out, and can only be estimated as Q1 2009.

Hate delays, sometimes I actually begin to think Nintendo has the brains in the release department by not mentioning the game until it's sure to come out soon.

What do you mean? You act like its being canceled. It is being delayed a little bit, not much of a big deal and probably for the better. Delays are usually for the best, I would rather a good complete game and not a buggy as hell game. Rock Star is usually really good with releasing solid games and I am sure they want the same experience from this one.

It's not being delayed to piss off people. Rockstar estimated that they could finish the game by Winter, but they apparently were too busy with other projects. It's being delayed so they could finish it as a FULL Grand Theft Auto game. Unless you want some spin off lame NDS game, than stop complaining.
