Great...realy great...because I had hear from different persons/Sites that 3.2 is still the best, and dowgrading is easy and save, no one reported a brick(or I haven't found something), I wanted to dowgrade my Wii...from 3.3 v1 to 3.2...launched AnyRegion Changer, clicked on go (DONE NOTHING WITH THE SEETINGS) and...a few errors during install and now I'm back in the menu of any Region Changer, which says:

WARNING: AREA/SysMenu mismatch

Also, on the Installed Region there's now a "."

Also, the process tooked much longer that on the video....about 5 Minutes...

What the **** should i do now? I will not leave the menu, because I know my Wii will be then bricked...maybe even full...Ideas? Please...help me...

Thanks in Advance

If your region says "." it should be fine. Mine did the same. I'm not bricked.
I went 3.3E to 3.2E
Errors said something about ES_title or something
Then region was "."

lol, sounds like you're in a pickle now! I'm afraid i've no experience with this situation, but why did you use AnyRegion Changer? Changing the region of your wii doesn't have anything to do with downgrading does it?

If you read my post ^ that should help.
Also go on Wiibrew and go on AnyRegion Changer, then look at the discussion page... it says it's an error but nothing to worry about.
Go back to the System Menu... you SHOULD be fine.

(you can turn your TV off, your Wii will still be on. lol.)

Don't worry. It's a false alarm. Happened to me...

QUOTE said:
Downgrade Error & Brick Warning

I got AnyRegion Changer today, and attempted to downgrade the Wii to 3.2U (from 3.3U) so I could use Starfall. However, when the process was done, I got an error as follows:

Error! ES_OpenTitleContent (ret = -1026)

Now, the program is telling me that I have the "." region of the System Menu installed, and it's giving me the brick warning. I'm rather worried about this, and obviously don't want to go back to the System Menu without knowing if it'll work or not. >.<

I am using version 1.1 of the program. KewlioMZX 09:24, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Never mind, works fine. KewlioMZX 08:32, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

The problem is that the current version grabs the latest IOS35 to patch and use. It may still work, but as long as it's using that IOS, there will be some errors. I will post a remedied version hopefully soon. --Tona 09:01, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Any news on when there will be a remedied version?? --lurbi

A couple of weeks ago I came across the same error while setting up a friend's wii, nearly gave me a heart attack, because I followed all directions...
Then found a post saying it was safe to continue and reboot, pfew
