I shall have the glorious pleasure of testing this game, i shall smite many bugs and take on the many dangers of testing a game. If i die please send a letter to my 25th favorite gaming company Ubisoft and tell them how much better they could be doing. Now without further to do, onwards to my adventure!

Patched version of the game works well on ppsspp-v0.9.8-1067-ge69130b.

Some minor nitpicking:
1. I noticed a typo: 'cemetary' instead of 'cemetery'.
2. Weapon category 'Spear' is an umbrella category including many different weapon types, which are definitely not spears. Maybe you should rename it 'Polearm' for consistency.
3. 'Earth Wave' spell definitely does not look like a wave in combat. Maybe you should rename it 'Stone Rain'.
4. Typo #2: 'The Sorestan seal is still in tact.' instead of 'The Sorestan seal is still intact.'.
5. 300 Chests Chest: 'Inside was a set of a splendidly ornate bow and arrows.' Actually, it should be 'Inside was a splendidly ornate set of a crossbow and bolts.' because Soul Eater is a crossbow.

A warrior skill called 'Wild Swing' in an older menu patch is now called 'Wild Wing' in this patch - I think it's a typo...

Thanks for catching these mistakes. 1, 4 and 5 have been fixed now.

I've been working closely with another tester and we found tons of errors. With regards to translation, my translator and I decided to go with a translation that resembles the original Japanese as close a possible. The spear weapon class is literally spear. While I think polearm also works better, but it might introduce some space constraints, considering it's longer. I'll have to investigate.

"Earth Wave"'s original Japanese is ランドウェイブ, which was translated as "randoueibu", or "Land Wave".

Likewise, "Wild Wing"'s Japanese is ワイルドウィング, which we translated as "wairudouingu". I could see how Wild Swing would work, but lots of the Greatsword abilities reference "Wing", so we felt to keep it consistent.

I've been rolling in changes as myself and others are finding problems, but still no progress on the more technical stuff yet. What I think I might end up doing is releasing another patch where all the text is fixed, then a final one if/when the last technical issues are completed.

Since I have both FF0 is my most like game but both are good games one is more round based RPG that is this FF0 major live action RPG with FF universe
Really up to you my friend both are great game in my opinion but who am I to have opinion :lol:

I probably missed it but why my Skill levels always reset (I think it happens after I die or change weapon)
I mean I had [Greatsword lvl 3] than I died, clicked on the rapier to check how it will look on my melee knight then I went outside to continue the quest, after 1-2 fights I get the message GreatSword lvl 1 again (and I still have my lvl 3 skill)
Oh btw it happened with Fire lvl 3 I had as well.

Thanks for your catches - you're doing a great job finding mistakes.

The "Time" is a graphic, and so, there is limited space to work with. "Time" itself just fits in the bounding box provided for that graphic, so it's unlikely I can extend it. I considered omitting "left", so that it would just be "# weeks", or even "# Wks", hoping that it was self-explanatory. The ideal case would be for me to find the variable width text routine and use that here instead.

The hungry man literally says rice, but it's traditional in Eastern cultures to have rice with every meal, so it may have been implied that the Flavored Bear was served with rice. I'll localize it better and instead have him say "good meal".

There are a few mistranslations because one of the files is just a collection of random events, so it's difficult to get a good idea of what's going on with just the text. I'll fix what you have found though.

For some reason, we used "ores" as the plural instead of "ore". I think "ore" sounds better, plus, you're right in that only the item "Ore" is used in that quest.

Weapon ranks are actually used when learning a new skill. I thought it was kind of confusing at first too. If you reach say level 3 with a Greatsword, then use a skill book that requires level 3 Greatsword, the character will lose the 3 skill points (and start at 0 again) and learn the skill. Different weapons have different skill levels that are maintained on the character even if you switch weapons.

Crimson Wide is クリムゾンワイド, or 'Kurimuzonwaido'. Some of the skills do have strange names...

This was a translation discussion that I had with my translator. Some of the "weaker" jewels have names that can be translated as "jewel", but also "holy stone". Then there are a hand full of the stronger ones that are explicitly "holy stones". There are points in the game where we used "jewel" and "holy stone" interchangeably, as in the encounter with Houst. I ended up going with jewel as the only description for the stones because "Jewel" fits nicely in the graphic on the equip menu tabs. In the next release, any mention of "holy stone" will removed, unless someone has any suggestion for how to handle the translation.

'as toll' -> 'as a toll'?
'we're going to have take' - Colloquialism?
Is there anything wrong with that? Since they are thieves, they may not speak properly all the time. I tried to keep or inject some personality in the text of who's speaking, although the original Japanese was pretty dry, saying something along the lines of "Even if you’re just passing through, we’re going to take all the luggage that you’re holding."

More like translation error. There's only one "closer" for this side story. Apparently it branches and we left the translation as if it was accepted.

You are correct. He uses the singular when it makes more sense for plural.

Unless it is used for several different random encounters, 'his mountain of armor' should be replaced with 'his mountain of weapons'.
Changed "armor" to "equipment"

Haha, I was wondering when someone would run into this one. This was a copy and paste error in our injection script. It is fixed now and will be incorporated into the next patch.

The Japanese text uses "figure of a man", and they do use the portrait that they use for all dwarves. I guess it makes sense to keep things consistent, since all the blacksmiths in this game seem to be dwarves.

I think we thought they were using it as a threat directed towards your party, but the previous sentence makes it seem like they're just talking aloud, so your correction sounds better.

Are you sure it's a revolver :)? It should be renamed 'Shinki Gun' for consistency.
Additional suggestion: rename this subcategory of guns 'Cannon'. I guess, 'Handcannon' will be too long.
