We can play N64 games on Wii like Goldeneye 64 but is it possible to hack those games and put online mode?

Becuse it would be fun playing good games like Goldeneye online.

What do you think?

Like a N64 emulator for Wii that could run N64 game online.

No, because its owned by Rare who is now owned by Microsoft.

And no, because we have no way to run unsigned wii code at the moment.

The problem with the N64 game Goldeneye is that 4 people own certain rights to it.
RARE/Microsoft - The actual game code
Sony/MGM - They own the license
Activision - They now have the rights to the videogames
Nintendo - They published the game in the first place

Could Nintendo/RARE put online multiplayer into the emulator? Probably but lag might kill it.

There is a homebrew 64 emulator for the cube in the works (I posted a thread around here a little while back) and you can tweak the official ones (the ones for zelda) but they will not give a great experience (and I am not sure goldeneye if will run).

The wifi hardware is wii only which as RadicalWall says is not possible due to difficulties in running unsigned code.
