BTW, only Europe users get the 1000 points. Their launch-DSi promotion goes until March 31. Ours (US and Canada) ended in October.

Are you serious..that SUCKS!! Oh well, I didn't see anything on the dsi ware site that intrigued me anyway..Someone posted about some kind of hardware failure issue and how he was lucky his did not have that issue, do you have any idea what he might have been talking about? Mine already has been shipped..I cant wait!!

Does it get preloaded with games ? did you get the bonus 1,000 points?

What points? I didn't get any points when I picked mine up yesterday morning. It comes preloaded with 2 Brain Age Express games and Picture Clock.
Did you connect to the DSi Shop? The offer worked if you connected to the shop.
If the offer's ended then it obviously won't work.

Ya the offer is over in NA i registered my ds and Pin via club nintendo and all i got was 3 month warranty extension and 160 Points, per console. @ least this release allows me to reach Platnum status for the year 2010 again!

You're in the UK, he's in the US. North Americans (US and Canada) don't have the offer, but you do.

Yeah, I noticed he was US. The offer's only around for two days now, and if I get an XL, I won't be getting it within two days.

I just got a DSi, at North America launch around this time last year. Not really a big fan of the huge screen same resolution and the 3DS is some what near. So hopefully, next year I'll see if I can get a 3DS but DSi XL, not for me.

has anyone got there acekard 2i or m3i zero working on the dsi xl yet iv updated mine on the ds lite and now it works on my dsi but not the dsi xl

AK2i works fine on DSi XL (Commerical Release Firmware version is 1.4U in US).

Only use that thing for games I never see in stores or games I already have. ;/

I've seen a few threads over in the M3 subforum that say it does work. Something about removing a RTS file or something. I don't remember, I just glanced at it yesterday.

Mines on a mail truck somewhere in Scarborough, ON! Can't wait!

Bronze and Burgundy sold out at Future Shop online now BTW, saw a couple (1 of each) at the Whitby, ON Zellers yesterday.

I got a DSI XL today and put my acekard 2i With Akaio RC 2 in and its working, i didnt have to do anything to my acekard it shows up as danny phantom and loads and runs all games.
It came with Brain Training arts edition and Dictionary 6 in 1 on it and i got 1000 points when i connected to the nintendo store, The firmware version is 1.4E

Received mine today. It's unlike any handheld console I ever had. The building quality is far superior to any previous DS, the weight gives you the feeling you're holding a very well built device, and because there is only a small margin above and below the screens, it still feels very compact.

The big screens just blow your mind, the picture is very clear and they are very bright overall they make it seems like a very luxurious product from Nintendo. The bottom has a matte feeling to it, emphasizing the feeling of luxury again, while maintaining a solid build.

At first the SD slot was hard to open, but once I opened it a few times it got easier.

Now excuse me as I play some Infinite Space (which looks VERY crisp and clean) or Pokémon.
