One thing I'm actually curious about is whether users in the GBAtemp community are interested in the history of handheld console homebrew development in the Chinese region, I'm working on a history book about it myself (not finished yet, far from completion, probably won't be finished writing it until 3 years from now)

Unless the person who signed up is under the age of 13, GBAtemp must remove this user's information in accordance with COPPA. The issue with this, however, is that someone may impersonate their age on their account, making them harder to ban.


I would love to see more hardware modding reviews/articles on the Temp, mostly its other YouTubers covering the topic.

I do love me some hardmods. Softmods could lead to legal trouble though, which is probably why it's best left to the Groups section on this forum.

i love this site, it's the first forum i ever used, i have a pokecommunity account but never use it, while I'm not sure
if this counts as feedback i feel like their should be more guides on how to mod specific games as there's some
cases with gaming stuff in general where you know something is possible but just haven't necessarily been
very accessible in terms of information on how to do it, for example there's not many known ways to activley mod
Pokemon ORAS, and then you see paidaixings current project and wonder how things like that were achieved or in other cases
i knew pokemon box could work on the wii based on crumbs of info i had and i made a thread aiming to achieve a smoking gun to sorta end the goosechase and make another thread so the info could be potentially mainstream.

in conclusion i do believe a dedicated sticky thread or something for those to request guides on things like this to be made for those who have information on things that aren't very well documented and whomever would like to share their knowledge can make a separate thread detailing said information and whatnot with a tutorial prefix.

while in retrospect this sounds like a bit much, i do think it would help a lot of people who want to get their hands dirty in homebrew and or rom hacking scenes more smoothly.
