Using a 3ds and an R4i 3ds card.

I have the bios.bin file in the correct place, and the 'gba' folder in the root with a handful of gba roms.

..but while trying both the arm9 and arm7 and with and without the YS menu, the list of games will not appear.

It just loads the purple GBARunner2 Banner with no games to choose.

Any ideas as to why? Thanks!

(I prefer not to attempt Twilight Menu++ as to keep my 3ds un-hacked/homebrewed).
It seems you are using mac os. Make sure to remove all ._ or whatever crap files it produces. More people had issues with it.
I'm gonna look into it when I have time, but I'm pretty busy with studying atm.

That isn't launched by B4DS.

Loaded everything on, and followed instructions for the Flashcard (all but autoload).

TwilightMenu doesn't give me the GBARunner2 logo in the GBA slot in the menu, and even when I do click it the empty section, the GBA intro plays and just sits there.

I have both arm9 and arm7 in the _nds folder. any idea why neither are showing the "Start GBA Runner" in twilightmenu?

EDIT: okay this error only occurs on my DS Lite, however running it on my 3DS the "Start GBA Runner" DOES appear but when I click it I'm left with the same issue where it loads GBA runner but has no list of games to choose from despite having ROMs in the 'gba' folder

You can select either arm9 or arm7 in TWLMenu++ settings, and you can also enable GBARunner2 on your DS Lite.

Did you even read my message:

I wasn’t sure exactly what IT was that you were referring to that’d be producing the ._ files. Are you referring to the ROMs or TwilightMenu? If TwilightMenu, where usually in the folders do they get produced because I actually don’t see any (but I may be missing them)

Also for what it’s worth, both arm7 and arm9 aren’t working when switching between the two in twilight menu.

He's referring to MacOS. TWiLight Menu++ doesn't make the ._ files.

I see. Well I don't see those kinds of files popping up on my SD card anywhere. Unless they are usually hidden somewhere I can't see.

Any other ideas as to why TwilightMenu won't display the ROM list on either arm7 or 9?

TWiLight Menu++ or GBARunner2?
TWiLight Menu++ does not show GBA ROMs.

Also, use this tool.

I'll try the tool out, thanks.

Sorry, I meant GBARunner2 loaded with TwilightMenu. I'm running into the error I was getting before even using TwilightMenu where GBA Runner2 loads, but no roms that are in the 'gba' folder appear listed.
