It´s simple, GBARunner2 is still work in progress.
Also, Nintendont has way more support than GBARunner2.

Uh how do you even close a game? I've always had to restart to change games...

It works however it desynch very quickly right after few seconds and sometime when are 2 channels of bgm (after few minutes) can't sync correctly, but with some step. sfx sync ok after x pressed. I tested on patched sonic advance 2 - music plants stage. (It sounds like there are two layered tracks with some sets of channels, and they have the same trumpets moment)

There are 2 different issues here. One is just a general delay between gb and direct sound channels and the other increased desync of direct sound channels when samples are dropped or so. The latter of these is reset by X

Thank you Gericom for your wonderful work. I do seem to be having an issue though. I loaded a rom and it crashed. I restarted the system and yet now every rom I try boots up the game that crashed. I have tried various things including deleting the offending rom but the issue persists. It's like it's in the cache or memory or something. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Sorry, I should have mentioned this is on a DSi XL with the latest TWiLight Menu++ and GBARunner2_arm7dldi_dsi.

TWiLight Menu++ v10.0.1 has been released, and adds the option to select either the arm9 or arm7 DS builds.
If you're getting white screens when launching GBARunner2, please switch to arm7.

Now that 32mb games are supported on the 3ds/dsi, I checked and can confirm that Pokemon Blazed Glazed 1.3 and Glazed 8.5.1, both of which are expanded 32mb games, works now.
I also made a list of official 32mb gba games that should be tested now, in order of type (relevance), thanks to http://www.advanscene.com/ (and the person who made this list from the site who I copied and updated this list from):

The list is not fully accurate, I had to add Spyro Superpack - Season of Ice + Season of Flame, while Arthur and the Minimoys is here but it's actually 16mb (Arther and the Invisibles is shown as 16mb on the site).
For now, I will just be checking the expanded Pokemon hacks I have on hand already to see if they are now supported.

Note that 32MB games can just work fine on DS with 4MB memory as long as they don't have their code in the high region.

with the difference of waiting just 2 minutes (or more depending of the game) to load the gamecode into the Ds RAM

The waiting time is mainly because of the save patching that needs to be done. It searches the rom for the sdk save library tag.

Darn, I can't come up with something edgy
I just tested gbarunner for mario and luigi super star saga, and the music, oh dear god the music gets horribly desynced. As in one of the speakers is clearly playing out of sync, or seems that way. going to double check. Other than that, no longer needed to disable the main memory cache it seems.

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

Yep. main cache can be enabled. But like I said, music is definitely desynced on one of the speakers.

I noticed the same while playing any of the gen 3 Pokémon games.

If it's not clear by now, that's 100% expected behavior when half of the music is gameboy sounds and the other PCM audio. It doesn't really help to list which games are doing it.

correction about main cache, still needs to be disabled, first fight causes the game to soft lock.

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

    I actually recorded it.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=10W5Su_hPEQu-TN2ts0TUPkWfhGXMbBQk anything with "bad" is the gbarunner version. I couldn't get the audio to perfectly sync sadly. And forgot to remove the intro. But it's the title screen, the attack cut scene. And Mario's house theme.

@Gericom, I´m going to update the wiki again.
Would comparing commit 371815e rom3M build with the latest master build help?
