Hacking Gateway on 11.1 emuNAND - What changed?

I read on the site. Something broke for Gateway 3DS if the emuNAND is updated but can be fixed by going on their site. IS there anything else that has changed that I should be aware of? I wouldn't bother to update if I didn't have to get Monster Hunter's DLC on the eshop since I can't do that from cia files.

at first the menu was broken but the newly released launcheer.dats fixed it

Yeah, it's just your typical launcher.dat update.
All it does it correct some offsets to make sure that the on-screen rom selector works on v11.1 3DS firmware. What worked for v11.0 stopped working when v11.1 updated the home menu.
