Honestly the only reasons (at least for me) to buy a New 3DS are either for better 3D (I can live without it), and exclusive games.
All we can do now is wait, but I'm not too bothered unless they announce the new Pokemon/Mario game exclusive... (Sunshine with C-Stick and ZR/ZL only on New 3DS!)
I was pretty annoyed when they announced the new console since I had just bought my first 3DS XL.
