Hacking Gateway 3DS upgraded to 11.4. Need help to restore please

My 3ds was accidentally upgraded to 11.4. The system itself is fine at 4.3 using the profile bug as a launcher. What is the easiest way to get it back down to 11.2 and hopefully keep all the save game files? Yes, I already know Gateway is a bit outdated, but I'd rather fix if possible rather than buying a new Sky3ds card.

Install b9s, and get into the emuNAND from Luma. You could then use sysupdater to go down to 11.2. Then you'd have to follow https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-using-luma3ds-gateway-on-b9s.431691/ to reenable Gateway.

Once you have access to Gateway again I would extract the save files by following https://gbatemp.net/threads/importing-gateway-saves-to-cia-games.425743/ and then just use Luma, which you can update without worrying.
