i know it's been said that it can't be done and all that. BUT what if you could copy the usb drivers from example Waninkoko's cIOS and put it into a cMIOS isnt there a chance that would work or has it already been tried?

Not only would we have to modify MIOS, we would probably also have to greatly modify both BC and boot2

The problem is that changing the MIOS is not enough
You'd need to change the BC and Boot2 too, and you have to be a really good coder to do that

And the MIOS works different than a normal IOS, so its not just Copy - Paste

put it this way, does the wii use usb ports when in GC mode...no.


That's how I think if it. Until somebody miraculously can get usb working when in GC mode, I'm happy with just making multi iso backups.
