I bought the game today.. The Audio is crappy in english and I was wondering if anyone wanted to work on dubbing the NTSC-J audio on the NTSC-U audio with me?

Ok so 'im thinking first step, getting it to load in one of the loaders. I got the ZRY realease from this morning (cause I can't backup games) but the iso I got was 2.6 Gb so 'im thinkin' the iso is bad. Has anyone gotten a normal iso NTSC-U for this game and if so, has it launched on any loaders?

EDIT: Specs : 3.2E PAL Wii - Tried the 2.65 Gb Iso on SoftChip r41 and Wiigator 0.3 Beta, with rev 6, tried applying VidTV, Pal50, PAL60, Force NTSC and Gc Hooktype, nothing worked...

Cheers,

The ZRY release you got must be messed up cuz its half the size of the one I got man. Ill test the game a little later tonight or tomorrow and post if it works.

Yea just checked... You are right apparently megashares bugged out and gave me a weird file ^^ the same link is now 4.36 Gb (??!!?). Well, wtvr... I'm downloading it again, should be done in a couple of minutes ill try everything tonight and post the results tomorrow morning.

EDIT:::: Ok so apparently its working I just messed up ^^ Ok I'll start extracting both iso's (NTSCJ and U) to try to grasp the file structure for the voices... I'm just wondering... Thoretically, if i extract both iso's and magically find a simple way to dub the voices, hwouldn't we need to reencrypt the iso? Would Trucha work?

Hmm...just hit a disk read error in hima after fighting the Skirophorion while looking for the dragon tamer, if anyone else has hit this error or is past this part let me know bout to try again and see if it was just bad luck or something.

edit: Using Wiigator 0.3 beta (I'll test out softchip after this fight with him if it gives me another error)

Edit2: i tried again and i didnt hit a error this time, Not sure what caused it.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
