So after brick at te reboot on 2.1 downgrad, i had to restore a backup with hardmod and had to restart from scratch
Now i'm on the "downgrade to 2.1 step"
Is there something i MUST do to don't brick again ?

The guide has switched to SafeA9LHInstaller by @Aurora Wright in addition to adding the Downgrade Checker implimented by v0.79 of OTPHelper by @d0k3.
Bricks are now basically impossible unless you ignore/circumvent all safety checks.

Now downgrade to 2.1 worked and didn't brick the 3ds but the downgrade verificaion failed.

If i read well i need to restore emuNand_formatted.bin, tiny format it twice and relaunch the downgrade ? Am i good ?

10.4, I'm pretty sure. Although you won't be able to use NTR.

Put ntr.bin on the root of your SD card.

As for downloading other native firm files, you can try using 3DNUS.
AuReiNAND provides 10.2 and 10.4 FIRMs for the n3DS, and 9.6 and 10.4 for the o3DS.
Unfortunately those NATIVE_FIRM files don't work with Cakes.

The only thing I'm still not sure is that after "Loading AGB_FIRM" it says that it failed.

I am just passing by to say a massive thanks to the OP for this amazing guide! I did my Ambassadors New 3DS from scratch (started on FW 10.1.0) and it worked almost flawlessly. Thanks so much! Looking forward to things developing in the homebrew scene, but enjoying a bunch of emulators so far!

I'm on EmuNand 10.7 with RxTools should I switch to CakesCFW before I start part 4 or can I do it with RxTools?

I completed the guide with cakes, everything went great first try!

I'm on SysNAND FW 10.7 now. When the inevitable 10.8 "stability" update comes out, is there a particular way I should update, or can it just be done on system settings?

Following the troobleshooting guide, i took the risk to restore sysnand with emunand as i had two files ending with .tmd extension in verification
