I guess some people will have already heard about this but at www.keepingittwisted.com/xbox_promo_landing.aspx you can register and get a free 48 hour online play code.

Also while I am here I am having trouble with my headset. I can send messages with voice but can't chat with my friends any ideas?

Yeah this was posted a long time ago but its nice to see it again cause I forgot it existed.

I'll be using these once my subscription runs out(soon) cause I dont want to pay for this constantly-buggy service.

hey i did try this but i never got it to wrok with my xbox, are these codes only for the US?

It does work in other countries I myself am from the UK and it works fine for me. Maybe try again.

Also I found out what the problem with the headset was. In personal settings voice in chat was set to mute and thats why I could hear them but couldn't reply.

You can only redeem these on your xbox, and not in the usual redeem code place, but change membership -> redeem promotional code.

My friend's code, the one that comes with Halo3 didn't work yesterday either, so it must be a Live problem. Let's hope they solve all their issues soon.
