Real or not? Up to you. But it looks pretty damn convincing to me. Battle system looks pretty the same though, so too bad to those of you hoping for an overhaul.

Edit: Added poll.

Well now that I think back, I liked Delibird more. That baby was cuter and more cuddly looking!

About damn time. Both of these Pokemon have sucked for too long! Now we need a Sandslash evolution... Sandswipe anyone?

I think some of the bigger news here is that they're keeping what looks like the same engine as Platinum, HG, and SS. Everyone thought it was gonna be a huge change.

Of course they would have to evolve the pokemon that people rarely use xD. Why isn't there ever consistency with pokemon anymore. One would think that Professor Oak and Elm weren't such klutz when they studied the evolution of pokemon xD.

Wow, it looks awesome! I wonder what the starter Pokémon will look like

. There's one thing for sure - the starter Pokémon will be Grass, Water, and Fire types. I don't think they look fake at all.

Hm... could this be real? If so, it's also our first screenshot of the new game's battle screen. Doesn't look terribly different from D/P/Pt. What was this image scanned from?

Can't say I've ever used Delibird for anything other than Pokedex completion, however that Farfetch'd evo looks kinda cool. I think they could've made him more of a biped, though.

I think the next ones to get evolutions will be: Lapras, but most likely a baby form much like Munchlax to Snorelax. A third for Fearrow since he already powerfull and needing it to match his speedy counterpart Pigeot. Even one I see for Pinser and Kangashan.

Hell yeah! They look great!

Way better then those lame Gen. IV Pokemon. The battle screen looks a bit too similar to Gen. IV. Hopefully, it won't use the same engine. I hope the rest of Gen V's Pokemon have the same design. I hated Gen. IV's design. Then again, this might turn out to be fake but it looks real. I'll wait for Pokemon Sunday to shed some light on the situation.

These are fakes.
Nintendo didn't even say they were announce a 5th gen.
They only said they were making new games.
