Nintendo didn't even say they were announce a 5th gen.
They only said they were making new games.

They said it would have new Pokemon, so thus it's a 5th gen game.

I don't know why, but I like the not-as-cool Pokemon more than Pokemon such as Dialga or Mewtwo.

I think it's afake, Nintendo announced to make a new pokemon game, but hey, a new game can be pokemon dash 2 or something like that, not necessarily the 5th generation.

Not to say, Nintendo always keep so many things about their pokemon games in secret (a clear example Pokemon HG/SS) they kept us without any info for so many time so why releasing info about this game this quickly?

Probably fake. Why is that every time famitsu or any other jap. magazine is leaked their crappy quality but this one time its near perfect quality? I'm calling fake but I must admit I dont hate those designs.

Well have fun waiting for that. I don't recall a single instance where any official body has spoken out on a fake pokemon.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue featured Lucario, Bonsly, Munchlax, Weavile and Mime Jr.
Lucario, Bonsly, Weavile and Mime Jr. were statues while Munchlax randomly appeared in Pokémon Square.
There was also Lucario Rank.

Pokémon XD featured Munchlax and Bonsly, even though you couldn't get them.

Both these games came out before Diamond/Pearl did.

What's your point? Gamefreak didn't develop those games.

The recent announcement said Gamefreak is developing new Pokemon games for the DS and will have new Pokemon in it. Gamefreak doesn't develop any of the Pokemon games except for the mainline ones. No spinoffs, nothing. To even suggest that this announcement isn't 5th gen is ludicrous at this time, unless they start developing the Pokemon spinoffs all of a sudden.
