Correct me if im wrong but, some time ago appeared this "wood for dstt" but it was actually just the gui skinned as acekard and when the game was launched it used the original dat files. So no extra compatibility was there except and the retro updates where still needed. Isnt this the same thing?

I don't see any option to launch a Slot2 device (Supercard SD) in this like there was in the original TT Menu and YSMenu. Is there any way to do this?
(Selecting Slot2 in the main menu just says there's no Slot2 device).

This is NOT the same thing.
the other one required you to have YSmenu on your card, since this one doesn't, it's safe to assume this is real Wood on DSTT!

With my original firmware I was not able to play pokemon, the experience, mario vs. donkey kong and a lot more of games; with this new wood I am able to do so.

NOTE: I DONT HAVE YSMENU installed in my sd, just my old firmware to boot into the wood, and the wood

Somebody have posted a new 1.26 version but... with... a password!

And, impossible to find where is this password, so, people think it's a joke!!!

But im sure, a new and REAL 1.26 will come out very soon!

Yeah it's probably a fake and don't count on the v1.26 version as the wood RPG svn is currently down.

Can anyone else confirm that New Super Mario Bros does not work in wood for dstt. I have tried 3 cards and both a trimmed and untrimmed version. I can't think of anything else to do but try to decrypt/encrypt this rom, but it use to play fine using dstt with retro's updates.
Edit: I have tried both Us and E versions of this game and now both clean roms and now decrypted/encrypted roms, all I still get is two white screens. Any help would be greatful.

New Super Mario Bros (U) works fine for me too. I'm not sure if it was a patched or clean ROM though, put it on my card a long time ago. I happened to run it by accident earlier today.

I for one don't blame YWG for closing the source to Wood. People think they can do what they want to people's firmware updates without even having the common decency to ask!!!

That's not what open source is, and YWG Needs to learn that. making a program open source is permitting everyone to do whatever they damn well please with it. if you don't want people to have your code, don't put it out there lol. if you want people to ask first, how about you DON'T PUT IT OUT THERE UNTIL THEY DO! The Wood4TT guy was disrespectful in not putting out his Source Code or giving YWG credit for developing Wood, but when you make your program open source, you can't expect these types of things.

What type of patch was used or any idea on how to find this patch. I have tried google and it keeps bringing up the NSMB3 patch for this game.
Edit: I tried arm7 patch twice once with mario 64 ds and once with mario kart they would both boot and show nintendo logo then go to 2 black screens. Should I try a different arm 7, or do I need to try something else?

Well, yes, you can. GPL is a type of licence that grants you exactly that right. If you're modifying code released under GPL and post only binaries - you're in violation of the licence, for which you can actually get fined in a court. There have been many cases of GPL breach in recent years and most of them went to court and were highly publicized. Of course, they were bigger projects than Wood, and suing someone who lives in Japan would be a lot of hassle, so YWG went for the easier way.

GPL is a lifestyle, open source advocates tend to take it very seriously.

Just use DSlazy and trim the CLEAN rom. That's all.

Oh wait. It's a pre-patched rom I got. I've tested and it's working. XD
