Im one of the three people who translated/coded the Translation Patch for FFIV DS (J).

If anyone in this thread has NEVER played FFIV before, and would like some usefull (spoiler-free!) information that you should know before you start, such as one-shot items, and the details of the Decant Ability system, I made a thread just for you

Actually, I think the info is more useful if you read and understand it PRIOR to buying the game. That way you can strategize and keep things in mind, such as, say, remembering to steal from the boss of the game, and knowing how the Decant system works in-depth...

btw, how do you "steal from the bosses" -__-

um, you use steal? it has a low hit chance, but you have a high chance of getting a great wep/armor/item

Looking at those pics i was going to ask why do people buy the guides I think they wreck the game. The whole ideais to at least compete the game the first time without having a guide telling you where to go. At least then you can have fun and be suprised at whats going to happen.
