When you have done the update on your dslite, was there an ez 3in1 inserted in the slot 2 ?

every one who is getting they systems bricked are you sure you followed the precise instructions?

- File needs to be put on root of SD card
- File cannot be renamed at all

Also did you download the file from the official Ez-flash forums?

I updated mine on a DSI and it worked perfectly.

I suspect this is the problem. Sounds suspiciously like the problem an the "EZVi + 105 = two white screens ?" thread.

I wonder if the people bricking their EZ5's are skipping firmware versions like in the case above, skipping versions 104 and 105.

Two white screens is only on 1.2E and 1.3E DSi !!!
The EZVi is not bricked in 105!

Now with the 106, we have some real brick !!!

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I asked FAST6191 to edit the first post and add a warning about the ez3in1.

The team has decided to remove the firmware v106 from their website, following some bricks encountered in some particular case.
We have also disabled it on filetrip.

They plan to release a fix to the updater very soon. v106A should be the version of this fixed updater.

I asked them also to see if it's possible to release an unbricker. They are considering this. I hope it's feasible.

I updated mine from 104 to 106A or something or another, and now the DS says there's nothing inserted in the card slot.
