Hacking EZ-V Cheat Function

ive just got a new ezv and im a dirty dirty cheater and yet i dont know how to use the cheat function, can someone help plz!
(i need to get more banana coin thingos in diddy kong racing and ive already got a .cht file with the cheat)

If you have a .cht file, just place it in the cheat folder on the SD card. Then, in the menu, select the orange icon on the left hand of the touch screen, boot your game, and select cheats using the D pad (right turns off to on)
