Hacking External controller on vita?

I've never actually tinkered with this, but is there any way to pair a dualshock 3 or 4 with a vita?
I'm assuming since you can't connect to the vita via USB at all that the answer is no.
Perhaps I should drop something in the request forum if it's even feasibly possible.

Well, PSP Go also can't connect to DS3 directly via USB, so the pairing was done using either PS3 or Windows tool. Though ATM Vita doesn't support DS pairing, which is sad.
