I want to edit the ComicBookDS 3.0 theme, to make one that matches my R4's current theme.

Here's the original file from CBDS:
comicbookdsspritesaj2.gif

Notice the green background.
It shows up transparent in CDBS, so you only see the buttons.

Now here's what my button looks like in CBDS:
spritesampledx1.gif

This is exactly what the button looks like inside CBDS. Green and all is there.*

How do I fix this and make the green transparent on my file, as it is on the default file?

*Note: This is only a portion of my edited file, used to explain. The full file will contain all of the buttons when it's finished.

The GIF file format allows you to designate one of the colors as the transparent color. How you do that depends on the tool you're using to edit it.

Hm.. Never seen that option.
Now I feel like a noob. XD

Thanks!

[edit] Found the option to pick the transparency color in Photoshop CS3.
And it displays transparent in PS and in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, but is still green in CBDS. *facepalm*

I guess I'll search the web for help now that I know the problem.

[edit2] No luck through Google. Everything I find is outdated or irrelevant.
Does anyone know how to make it work with PS CS3?

[edit3] Scratch that. I figured it out. Somehow. XD
I guess I finish my buttons and try to replicate my result now. :3

Sorry for all the edits!
