Hello,i'm using dsx86.nds and an original nintendo ds.i've downloaded lion king and renamed files
Inst.exe (installer)
Lkdos.exe (game for protected mode only)
Lkdos.epf (or efp i don't remember)
Lkdos.cfg (interesting,a config file...)
Issue i have
1. It says that a protect mode is available only for 2 codes (which i don't remember,so lkdos.exe is unable to be ran)
2. WHen i run the installer on ds it says that 386 is an unsupported opcode

Have you got an idea on how to enter protected mode? Or,if i give you files, would you install the game and give me the installed file?

Or...is there a way to make a protect mode exe to run in a normal mode forced?

i dont think its possible. beside dsx86 emulates a 286 proccessor not a 386 which explains the opcode error

Do you have a SuperCard DSTWO available? If so, then you should try the DS2x86 instead of DSx86, which at least has support for Protected mode for running DOS4GW games. Don't know, if Lion King is a DOS4GW game.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
