I have just updated 2 ds twos and it worked fine for me.

Here is what i did:

1. Backed up the games and saves.
2. Formatted the SD Card.
3. Copied the files from DSTWO_v1.10_eng.zip on to the SD.
4. Copied the files from Firmware_v1.08_eng.zip on to the SD.
5. The SD card looks like this:
a4ygjn.png

6. Put in DSi, Turn On and Load DS2.
7. Press A at prompt.
8. Go in to DS Games and then turn off DSi Fully.
9. Turn on DSi and Load DS2 and it works!
Same here - an original DStwo and a LE-DSTwo - both updated fine & not had any problems (yet)
Only thing I did different was I used an old 2Gb MSD instead of re-using my existing MSD, & I also didn't do include the TXT files either
I think the problem here is that people are just over-righting the old files with the new ones which is causing problems (plug-ins and stuff)

I did that and it's working great
I updated my EOS (1.10) by copy and paste (replace old)
than I just drop the update file (1.08) into root, turn on my DS it updated automaticly and it's done.
works perfect so far

I didn't even use the ds2boot.dat....I think?

I'm using a 16GB class 2

dont you guys get it!

I updated BOTH my cards no problem....

Its running the card and Emulators etc. that causes the NO CARD INSERTED issue!

Have any of you guys tried running the GBA emulator AFTER upgrading?

I think it's a bad idea to release the 3DS A-A-P fix ... Nintendo can block it soon and they'll (SC) have more work to do after.

Than SC will release another update to fix it

this pretty much show why the sc team are the best they by the time i made this post are only one that release a 3ds firmware for their card to the public
Another example of why I don't like you. The CycloDSi worked with the 3DS without any updates. It was truly the first to work with the 3DS.
Please stop making fanboyish comments.

I just noticed that it was the Alex Rider icon (didn't notice at first, since my Acekard 2i displays the same thing). I'm so glad to have that rather than Fish Tycoon

it happened to me, except i can't get the icon to come back up.
it worked at first and i was able to boot a game. but when i restarted my DSi, it no longer shows up. nothing i do will get my DSi to read my DS2 now.. :/
Awesome, same here. And I had just received my DSTWO Limited Edition

EDIT: It started working all over again by itself. It now shows the "SC DS" icon, now on DSLite. Cool.
It happened to me too. Updated my dstwo on my DSi XL and at reboot, no icon. Ejected/inserted it, still no icon.
Then i tried on my DSlite, i saw the sc team icon. Tried on my normal DSi and Alex rider was here.
Retried in my DSi XL, alex rider was here also.
Very strange issue ...

Mine did that before the update(which I haven done yet), doesn't show up time to time , but I just get it to work and play.

That happens with my ds not used to be mine dsi.

DS two still awesome tho.

I'm extremely happy about this update.
My DSTwo came with bootloader 1.05 and I didn't bother updating it until now.

Before, it showed Fish Tycoon header even in a DS Lite.
But now it shows the DSTwo icon like normal!

I am slightly disappointed SuperCard Team, you didn't add AutorunLastRom.
At least you made it work on the DSTWO.

It would be awesome if AutorunLastRom was added, or even if system11.dat is self updating.

I'm not a fanboy, but I would like to point out that it's all in the timing. Team Cyclo released their cart around the time the 3DS was released, and they had DSi mode cracked. Nintendo didn't have any countermeasures against that yet, and they couldn't hold back the release date of the 3DS to try and fight it because it probably would have taken too long. If they had released it a lot sooner, it would have been in the same boat as the the DS TWO. So it is the first Flash cart to work on the 3DS only because of it's timing of it's release and it's unique method of working. And as far as I can tell, I haven't seen any other cart release an update that makes it work on the 3DS aside from the DS2 and the M3i Zero. So, INHO, when it comes to old carts that have released updates to make them work on the 3DS, Team SC is the first.

To get it clear: I don't have to change anything untill I'll get a 3DS, right!? I just installed the EOS 1.10 without the 3DS related patch before. I've got Danny Phantom still, but System is 1.10 too - everything's fine so far on DSiXL.

I think I can shed a little light on the disappearing icon bug, it's totally harmless.

Okay, so boot up your DStwo on a DSi, and when you can see the menu, tap Power to reset the DSi.
The DSi menu should display no icon.
Eject the DStwo, wait a couple of seconds, press it back in, or just tap the power button a second time.
Alex Rider should reappear on the menu.

Not sure why this happens, but it's a totally harmless bug.

Also do you guys recall the DSi trick to make a regular AK2i icon appear? That is, injecting the AK2i whilst the DSi is taking a photo on the DSi menu?
Tried that on the DSTwo as well, it still displays the Alex Rider icon as normal, although this did cause the usual "Error has occurred"

Yaymii, the iEvolution didn't need an update because:
1: It was released whilst the 3DS was in production.
2: The 3DS works exactly the same as the DSi in terms of DS software, just with a basic block of known fllashcart signatures
3: The iEvolution uses new signatures with MechAssault and Cooking Coach.

The iEvolution didn't do anything amazing, it just got lucky since it was released so late in the DSi lifespan.
The iEvolution also needs a UFO dongle thing to flash itself to begin with, the DSTwo can flash itself, just by being plugged into a DSi system.

For real, the DSTwo is the DS flashcart solution, just so easy and hassle free to use.
They've been prompt too, it hasn't been so long since the 3DS was launched now, not even a week.

Is there likely to be an update for the dsonei?
I hope so; someone I know has a DSonei and has the highest probability of having a 3DS first!
I feel kinda bad that the DSonei was pushed way when the DSTWO was released...
