Alright, I'm a little bit confused.
I've downloaded the EOS 1.10 thing (as always, when a new EOS is released), deleted 1.09 from my micro-SD, put the new _dstwo folder (EOS 1.10) on my micro-SD along with the included "ds2boot.dat" file. Everything went fine and roms do work. System is on 1.10 now, but no new Icon is shown in DSi's Systemmenu. I thought there should be this Alex Rider thing now!?
I'm on a DSiXL btw.

you only updated the eos, not the cards firmware. when you upgrade to firmware 1.08, you will have a new icon.

Wrong order... the CycloDSi had worked the whole time.

1. CycloDSi
2. R4iDSN
3. Acekard 2i
4. DStwo
5. M3i Zero

And yeah, the 1.08 firmware isn't associated with the 1.10 EOS.

O.K.....so if you know what to do its easy ...but its a bit unclear what to do....first you download the 1.10 EOS zip and put it at the root of your card overwriting the old files...

Then use the update 1.08 firware zip to flash to new firm and 3ds compatability....

....now if the end of the month would come i could gaze into that new shiny black 3ds screen and watch alex rider pop up and give me a gamer woody..

while doing this i had trouble getting any icon in the dsi game slot...thought i bricked my card...but reset and exhaled to see alex stormrider...anyone have this happen?

Guys should i put 1.08 firmware file on my SD card on it own update then put 1.10 EOS on. or is it ok to have both on at the same time while running update.

also did you guys put in both ds2boot and the other .dat file

Awesome, same here. And I had just received my DSTWO Limited Edition

EDIT: It started working all over again by itself. It now shows the "SC DS" icon, now on DSLite. Cool.

PLEASE SEE DSTWO BRICKED POST!!! http://gbatemp.net/t281628-bricked-ds-two

I think SC have a major bug in the NEW BOOT LOADER!

I have just recieved TWO x SC DSTWO cards.
Using a 16GB Sandisc Micros SD card

Updated BOTH to 1.08 (now both showing ALEX RIDER Icons)

Run the GBA Emulator (V1.30) and then rebooted the NDS (DSi and DSiXL) and had the SAME thing on BOTH cards

DSi and DSiXL both showed "THERE IS NO CARD INSERTED IN THE DS GAME CARD SLOT"

Put it in my old PHAT DS and teh SCREENS went off and the DS would not fully boot to the HEALTH WARNING Screen, taking the SD card out it would boot to NO GAME CARD, put the SD back in and no boot!!!

Left it for FIVE minutes and both are running again!!!!!!

VERY strange ... there is something not quite right with the new BOOT LOADER!!!

ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS ISSUE??!?!?!?!!?!

I thought I bricked my DStwo. I don't know what I did to get it to work, I just remember taking out the
DStwo from my DS, putting the microSD card, doing nothing, then trying again.

I have just updated 2 ds twos and it worked fine for me.

Here is what i did:

1. Backed up the games and saves.
2. Formatted the SD Card.
3. Copied the files from DSTWO_v1.10_eng.zip on to the SD.
4. Copied the files from Firmware_v1.08_eng.zip on to the SD.
5. The SD card looks like this:

6. Put in DSi, Turn On and Load DS2.
7. Press A at prompt.
8. Go in to DS Games and then turn off DSi Fully.
9. Turn on DSi and Load DS2 and it works!

Same here - an original DStwo and a LE-DSTwo - both updated fine & not had any problems (yet)
Only thing I did different was I used an old 2Gb MSD instead of re-using my existing MSD, & I also didn't do include the TXT files either

I think the problem here is that people are just over-righting the old files with the new ones which is causing problems (plug-ins and stuff)
