The 1.4.2 fix will allow use on 3ds as well as dsi firmware 1.4.2

The 1.4.2 firmware was for DSi & DSi XL,
but very soon, a new firmware for 3DS will come out!

yes but once the difference has been solved it will be easy to apply it again to the next patch
so why not solve the differences now, rather than wait.

do you mean the updater gives you a white screen or it flashes the card and gives it a white screen?

no it should make um work with 1.4.2 when it works

I think its cos i did a dodgy hex edit so it didnt work with the rest of the code
the clean version is fine but stops at card check

@Pong, new here but joining the effort. Do you have a raw rom image of the 1.4.2 update for R4 ? (where is it located in the nds update file) I think it should be possible to burn it with DSTT flashwriter.
