It's uses the same hardware as an Acekard IIRC (The were paid so it's not a clone just a fake R4)

So trying to make an Acekard update would have more success but Acekard are making one just now so it's not needed. Unless you want wood on a Acekard in which case I'll happily test on my old one (I have 2 anyway)

its trying to access outside files which don't exist because in this update they are in the NDS file
casue a Arm7 error

just need to point it internal not external

unless it may work if you put the board pcb file (was included in the 1.4.1 update)

Doesn;t break the card, but can't update.

Maybe I am just stupid, but didn't the 1.4 update needed to run on the official kernel (1.17 or 1.15)?

IIRC 1.15 was needed
it did but that was the Firmware check in the TTDS update file
as that was its PASS check

maybe worth a try on firmware 1.15

you just do what R4iGold say

lol DSTT 1.4.1 can be loaded onto another Cart and then place the DSTT in and it will re-flash it back

Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

The r4ids.cn uses the same hardware as an Acekard so there's more of a chance of trying to get that update on an Acekard than a DSTTi.

There will be more issues trying to run Wood on a DSTTi that's what I'm saying because it's different hardware. (without the source code anyway)

I'm following this thread not because of the DSTTi but because I have a 1.3 R4iGold (but with 1.4 pcb hardware).

But every update I tried just say "no need to update", so if one of those .nds can bypass this check, it might be worth a try.

No, R4i Gold 1.3 never got an update, even if it had the exact same hardware than the 1.4 version...
Every updater out just say "No need to update". so it looks like the updater actually check to content of the flashcart bootstrap...
