Gaming DSi XL or DSi?

Based on features. between DSi and XL its just the enlarged screen right?

or is there any inconspicuous hardware changes like between the iPod Touch 8GB and 16GB

DSi XL has enlarged screens and better battery. Sound is better because speaker is larger (though still the same speaker).

Yeah, the sound is better, cause the holes are different, and the screens are huge. I have a DSi, and my friend has an XL. I use to play my stuff on it cause it was so awesome.

Seriously, if the XL was out when I got my DSi, I would have changed my mind.

bought mine when the xl was just out...dunno, i just didn't go for it, might've changed my idea, but i'm happy with it
i'm using headphones for everything, so even considering the speakers it wouldn't be better for me

dunno, i might be one of the rare species for whom the normal dsi just works better

But I don't want to brag but I use my solo HD's for music. So sound doesn't really matter to me.

Back sounds are also on the games, so it should matter.

The only advantage from the XL that I think you'd care about is larger screen and better battery life.
The XL is kinda a lil too big but if you got donkey kong hands then your good, I like my DS Phat cause its the right size for me but I wouldnt mind a regular DSi except it has less battery then the DS Phat.

Also the DS Phat is already a huge object when going into my relaxed fit jeans so a DSi XL will be annoying having in your pocket. Since the DS Phat isnt a option I say get the regular DSi, if a huge size isnt the issue then go with the DSi XL.

In conclusion the regular DSi is a rip off for having less battery then the DS Phat and DS Lite.

I'd probably get the DSi XL for my moneys worth.

The XL is kinda a lil too big but if you got donkey kong hands then your good, I like my DS Phat cause its the right size for me but I wouldnt mind a regular DSi except it has less battery then the DS Phat.I have fairly small hands, and I can no longer tolerate playing on a smaller DS. Since I own a DSi XL, it feels more natural in my hands. And the screens...once you try them, you won't be able to go back. And I'm pretty sure that if the DS phat fits in your hand fine, than the XL should fit too.
And the DSi has better battery life on average than the DS phat (9-14 vs 10 based on Nintendo's official specs)

Again, I'm a small person, but the DSi XL is only an issue if I happen to be wearing pants that have very small pockets. Most of my pants have big enough front pockets to fit the DSi XL without any discomfort.

I like DSi XL instead of DSi, because the DSi XL has cool stylus, the holes of the speaker is many (unlike the hole from the DSi, which is only one hole.), and has a bigger screen, like everybody said

, but what I like the most is the Nintendo 3DS, the coolest of all Nintendo gadgets.
