Hacking Dsi r4i gold card gives white screen after update

Hi Leute,
Ich hab mir ne r4i revolution modul karte gekauft( http://www.vartis.de/product_info.php?info=p276_R4i-RTS--Gold-3-DS-Revolution.html ) und wollte diese halt einrichten. Ich hab mir Videos angeguckt und hab dann genau dasselbe gemacht wie in den Videos gesagte wurde. Ich habe mir die Dateien auf dieser Seite (*snip* ) gedownloadet. Dann habe ich die r4i gold karte in meinen Dsi gesteckt mit der Version 1.4.5A und gestartet. Das normale r4i menü öffnete sich und ich habe ( wie im mVideo beschrieben ) das update ausgewählt und installiert. Danach stand dort Update succed und weil nichts passiert ist habe ich das Update nochmal installiert. Als dort wieder Update succed stand habe ich den Dsi ausgemacht und wieder an. Dann wollte ich das Menü der karte öffnen, aber dann erschien ein endloss langer whitescreen auf beiden displays.
Bitte helft mir weiter.

PS.: Kann ich die Karte wider zurück schicken?

I bought an R4i Revolution flashcard ( http://www.vartis.de/product_info.php?info=p276_R4i-RTS--Gold-3-DS-Revolution.html) and i wanted to set it up. I watched the tutorial videos and then did the same steps that they did in the video. I downloaded the files from the R4i site. Then I placed the R4i gold card into my 1.4.5A version DSi and started it. The normal R4i menu opened, and just like they did in the video, I picked the update and installed it. I got the "Update succeed" and since nothing else happened so I installed the update one more time. When it showed me "update succeed" again I turned the DSi off and on again. When I tried to open the card's menu, I got two white screens instead.
Please help.

PS: Can I return the card?

I installed this update: R4iGold_NDSi145_Patch_NDSL. It was for my NDSi. I think I installed this software before (Wood_R4iGold_V1.64) and then the update(patch).

The "R4iGold_NDSi145_Patch_NDSL" patch is only for the DS Lite. It's supposed to be a fix for broken cards but it only works with DS Lite.
The white screen issue is common if the card got bricked (with an invalid update). You need a DS Lite and another flashcard to fix it.

Ok thx, but can I get my money back, when I send it back to the website that selled me that. I think I have given the wrong update name to you. I think this was the update what I installed: "R4iGold_NDSi145_Patch_NDSi"

In that case it's maybe else. Can you try to clean the contacts of the R4 and of the MicroSD?

Ok i have done it, but nothing happens... Maybe its dont starting, because i have installed the update twice...

Did you turn off your DSi while updating the card?

Hmm. I would ask the shop if he takes the card back. Otherwise I could try to fix it (you seem to live in Germany like me).

If you bought it recently within the last couple of months, it was already prepatched for a DSi 1.4.5. All you had to do was drop the Wood R4 onto the microSD and some games, then play them from there.

Updating an R4 clone is mostly an oxymoron.

You have to email the people at vartis and ask for a RMA or exchange. If they agree, then you follow what procedures you need to do.
