It's a real fix, they haven't changed the faked game.

Nintendo's responce
"Nononononononononononoooooooooooooo

QUICKLY
WORK ON 3DS UPDATE SO THIS STOP THIS FIX
MAYBE DELAY MORE TIME SO WE WIN"

lolno that wont be happening since they now have an official date for the update its gonna be very bad for them to delay it.

YAY to the SCTeam the first ones to Release a 1.4.2 patch (yes I know others have announced them but they've not actually released the patch so they don't count).
The patches for R4i Gold and R4iDSN are out.

I really CBA to check which (Supercard or R4i) was first, with this difference it's a mindless penis contest to care.

You wrote that several times now, but I don't see any difference.

We don't know why EZ Flash got hit the first time now and iEvo didn't.

Maybe that's a strategy from Nintendo, not to touch an "outsider" for some time to see how the market develops.

They are observing the situation, Nintendo knows which cards are popular (in the real world, not on GBAtemp), and which are not...

The difference is simple. You can see when a team is really able to hack a protection or not.
When you change to another faked game you choose the easy way.

Concerning big N, i highly doubt they choose which flashcart will be blocked or not.
I'm more to think they haven't found a fast process to block the iEvo yet.

Yeah. But they managed to block iEvo DSi on 3DS... So they could, if they want.

We have to wait what happens on June 6th/7th now.

All these flashcard updates are useless crap now. It's all PR only. Nobody cares if DS2 can run for three weeks now.

June6th/7th is the date that counts.

(And maybe Nintendo is playing with us. Why not? Maybe they have fun not to block EZ or iEvo)

CU,
Clookie.

They probably blocked the overflow that was found by wintermute and so the faked dsi game exploit.
It's probably more simple to fix that on the 3DS as the DSi mode is not the native mode.

BTW, as you said, wait and see.
We know the 3DS fimware is planed to june for the USA, perhaps the Japanese one will happen sooner ?
