A - If you're referring to unpacking DSiware, you'll see you need to use/compile the beta NUSD because the current 1.5.1 beta or whatever has a bug with it.

B - If you're referring to running DSiware, the entire damn thread has been stating you cannot, this is NOT the type of key that lets you run shit.

they appear to have fixed it in 1.9. i downloaded & decrypted flipnote, dsi browser, & dsi camera yesterday & unpacked them in ds buff.

Ok. I have a mind-boggling issue. In the latest NUSD, It gives you the option to download Pictochat, but when I do, it gives me a 404. Why is that?

Probably a DB error. PictoChat is part of the OS and is not upgradable.

Incorrect. It IS upgradable and can be obtained from NUS with NUSD.

It's probably a temporary issue.

I didn't bother verifying any of the titles from DSibrew when making the database for DSi titles. PictoChat 404s because it either is nonexistant on NUS, I mistyped the database, or DSiBrew is incorrect. If anyone knows the answer, please consider amending the database to help everyone out.

DSiWare cannot be decrypted as of now. Without a way to get files (tickets) off the DSi NAND, there's no way to get the Title Keys necessary. The same content protection measures that are on Wii NUS files are used with the DSi.

Yeah edit the dsidatabase.xml file or (more helpful) edit the dsibrew page linked above.

I have a feeling this needs to be closed... either progress is slow or interest has been lost.
What is the point of making a useless post?

This thread should be open to people who can contribute and there is no reason to close a thread due to lack of interest, it will die by itself and there hasn't been kids going 'omg can we ran dsiware/softmod with this exploit on DSi for a while now.

I would agree.
It isn't because people have lost interest in the suject, it is just that there is no point in posting in this topic, since there isn't much to post about.

THIS KEY IS USELESS FOR MOST PEOPLE, IT ONLY LETS US SEE INSIDE THE SYSTEM FILES, NOTHING MORE. DOES NOT ALLOW PIRATING OF DSiWARE.

More or less the combined thoughts of the peers.
Seriously guys, quit asking the same crap over and over again, if you MUST know, jump back 2, maybe 3 pages and READ.
You'll find your answer soon enough.
I think this needs to be glued to the top of all of the intelligent bio-forms' posts, as well as the OP, seeing NOONE can READ, or go BACK a few pages, as well as feeling compelled to ask the same damned question over and over again.
Another vote for locking.
Make use of the http://ask.gbatemp.net/ section, you guys, that's why it's THERE.
