I am thinking of getting my fiance a DS Lite for crimbo and was wondering what is the best way to browse the web on it ?

The main web site that she would use is Facebook, is this possible without hacking the DS Lite ? can it be done from a memory card of some type ?

I have read reviews on the official nintendo one and its supposed to be kak

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes you can do it. Nintendo has a DS lite internet browser, fully supported and authorized by Nintendo.

And there are other ways to do it, but they involve "hacking the ds". I'd suggest just getting the real thing, it'll be so much easier, until you get some more experience with the homebrew world.

Yes. The Nintendo DS Opera browser comes with a DS game card with the browser loaded on it and a RAM pack which goes in the bottom slot for running the software. Here's a link to it if you need more information: http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-DS-Lite-Bro...97454825&sr=8-1. Hope this helps.

Edit: Didn't realize someone had already posted a link to the browser, whoops.

Edit 2: I've reached 100 posts. Go me!

do i need the ds lite browser to use Beup or Ebuddy ?
You can connect to the eBuddy mobile using the Opera browser, and then chat through that, but using a flashcard and dedicated homebrew software is better. You mentioned Beup. Beup is much much better for MSN chatting than using eBuddy.

This forum isn't for advanced users, I'm saying you should utilize the "Search" icon that appears on this website. These questions have been asked before, no need to clutter the forum with another question that's been answered before.

Played a little Portal way back, but didn't care for it. Should give it another go.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Oh god, Portal. I got stuck in the middle of making a portal on a wall, and trying not die in the pit. Can't remember what level it was, but this was a decade ago. It just feels too difficult.

First few levels you know what you're supposed to do, but afterwards, they don't tell you otherwise, you have to memorize everything.

They should've continued making Rabbids games before they fall off the earth. If Nintendo has Super Mario, then Rabbids should be their mascot for all their games. Make a lot of money.

@Skelletonike, Valhalla was pretty good, slow at first but gets better as goes. Not quite as good as Origins or Odyssey tho, imo

The game has so many options, many pointless, but no option to change the audio settings? I like when I can put the sound to work better with a soundbar or stereo equipment, I think previous games had it? Weird
