I tried both Fat 32 and 16 at different cluster sizes.
I found it had little to no effect on the Castlevania test with the DS-Link.

I even made some videos of the diferent (filesystem / cluster size / Micro-SD) combinations but they are not very exciting. Basically the Kingston performs better than the Sandisk across the board and the filesystem changes were negligible.
I can upload the videos somewhere if anyone really wants them. They are about 10MB each.

Using my normal Sandisk the Castlevania test is quite poor. Not too bad. But it is a bit better using my Sandisk Ultra 2.

Sandisk Ultra 2 seems to be quite a bit better (Loads games quicker ect)

What about the battery consumption? Does it require the same amount of energy as the GBA carts? That's the biggest advantage of a slot 1 solution if it works.

They don't use the same firmware, if you try to flash the Chinese ver with the English fw it gets bricked.

A reseller mentioned about them not working like that and it gets bricked. Maybe that was in the first fw updates or a possibility, but anyhoo. That's what he said.

I am not sure about the battery life and don't really want to test it.

I had some time ago planned on doing a bunch of battery testing of different carts but I decided against it.
It takes so much time to do, and I would definately want to re-run the tests to verify the time. Too much time for me..

So far I've found many outrageous claims about the battery consumption of flashcarts that in my experience hasn't proven true.
I have not noticed any change in battery life through using any of my flashcarts, those being: EZ-Flash 4 lite, M3 Micro and now DS-Link.

I know many people are truly concerned about battery life and I'm not saying those concerns aren't valid. They just don't matter to me

Is it possible to use .SAVs from a supercard lite in the DSLINK?

Do I need to convert/import the save file with the DSLINK software/patcher or will it work without modification?
IE. Just copy the .SAV to the proper directory and possibly rename the file?

Thanks,
- Will
