@RocketRobz hello I updated from v19.0.0 to v25.8.1 Nice job! I am having some trouble because i just added hacked rom Another Super Mario 3D patched to Super Mario 64 DS it worked but now it disappeared after i updated Twilight Menu++ 25.8.1 also all roms are not in alphabetical order and some are missing. i was thinking if there is limited number roms for Twilight Menu++??? i had 399 now down to 390 roms in nds folder. Thank you
The limit is 320 files/folders per folder.

How long was it frozen? It may take a while on your side.
Oh! Seems to have only taken a little longer than expected, noted. The sound stopped playing, so I thought it had fully frozen before

Oh, I wanted to ask... I'm using short press of POWER button to exit from the DS games and return to Twilight Menu on my DSi. Am I right to do so, or it is better to use L+R+DOWN+B?

I didn't know about short press power button but i use L + R + down + B to exit game and i set in twilight menu setting no to return to menu screen just exit to select game.

Hello time ago install this get corrupted sd card on Nintendo 3DS

Now is safe install?

Thx in adavance
TWiLight Menu++ has never corrupted SD cards. You might be thinking of GBARunner2, where it's old builds would possibly corrupt SD cards.
If TWLMenu++ has corrupted an SD card on your side, then the SD card might've been dying and/or you we're using the akMenu/Wood theme, which has since been removed, due to corrupting SD cards.

My 3ds sdcard was hit. iirc this was caused because of some sort of fat cache managed by nds-bootstrap. Some people suffered that bug too. That fat cache was then disabled by default for large >64 sd cards. Since then, I keep a checksum for each file and haven't found any more corruption.

Hello there! I would like to ask, is there support for button customisation on TWL++ for DS games? I know I can do it for 3DS games, for example, but I'm aware TWL++ works on DS mode so I'm pretty sure this won't cut it.

If there isn't, are there plans on the future? Is this even possible?

My R button is a little spotty and it's making it difficult to play Resident Evil Deadly Silence. I wish I could swap the L and R functions. 🙁

There are no plans, due to the the button customizing needing to be done per-game.

Sounds like you're on 3DS? Can maybe use this then: https://shocoman.github.io/3ds_nds_remap_codegen/ (thread)

I'm not sure if that's universal for all games or not, if it is I wonder how hard it would be to make that a built in feature of nds-bootstrap instead of an AR code...

Hi. Question about SNEmulDS.
Is there a chance to implement snemul.cfg?
It seems that it's not working right now.
If I set NEW_SNES_EMU_VER = 1 in settings.ini, New version of SNEmulDS (0.6c) is working (savestates allowed).
If I set NEW_SNES_EMU_VER = 0 in settings.ini, Old version of SNEmulDS (0.6) is working.
But none is using any snemul.cfg file (I have one in root/ and one in _root/nds)
I'd like to save some layer settings here (or language settings at least for 0.6c cause it's in DSi default language - japanese in my case)
Thanks.

Did you put the .cfg file in the SD root?
If so, idk why it wouldn't read.

OK. more research:
It does read setting.ini in SD root directory.
It does read:
ROMPath =
Scaled =

However It doesn't read
Language =

Also It doesn't read older
GAMES list settings if I copy it manually from my older snemul.cfg
And it Does't rewrite GAMES list settings if there is one such a game in the list.

Also Menu seems more unresponsible and glitchy. Even games graphics seems more glitchy.
I thought It's the problem of Twilight menu (as I asked above), But It seems that it belongs to SNEmulDS thread. OK.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
