If I missed a game you really want coverage on then simply send your write up to me (via PM). If it's good enough and follows proper formatting I'll add it here with credit to you! Check the "Other Releases" section at the bottom and see the bolded games to see what games I would want write ups for but am not all too qualified to do myself

Just like October there's plenty of stuff to look forward too... Whether it'll be any good when it comes down to it though is still up in the air.

You can read the Wii version of this thread right here

Some rules and stuff.
Warning: Spoilers inside!

James Bond 007: Blood Stone

Developed by: n-Space
Published by: Activision
Release date: November 2nd (North America), November 5th (Europe)
Genre: FPS
My Hype Level: It's Bond so I have to give it an obligatory try
GBAtemp Hype Level: Meh

I've always been a huge Bond fan so by fan obligation I have to try every Bond game that's come out. This one is the game based off the abandoned movie but seeing as the movie was dropped there's been more focus on the game now. It's made by the same guys who've done other DS FPS games like Call of Duty (which weren't terrible) so it may be worth a try.

Goldeneye 007

Developed by: n-Space
Published by: Activision
Release date: November 2nd (North America), November 3rd (Australia), November 5th (Europe)
Genre: FPS
My Hype Level: Again, Bond game, it's worth a try.
GBAtemp Hype Level: More psyched for the Wii version

Two Bond games developed by the same developer, published by the same publisher, and dropping on the same day in both North America and Europe... I wonder if there will be any similarities... Either way, being a Bond game I'm obligated to try it. But seeing as it is Goldeneye I'm sure there will be plenty of love or hate mail before it even comes out. Fortunately, I never had any nostalgic bond (no pun intended) to Goldeneye... Perfect Dark's better kids.

Sonic Colors

Developed by: Dimps
Published by: Sega
Release date: Novemeber 16th (North America), November 18th (Japan)
Genre: Platformer
My Hype Level: I guess I'll try it but I'm not optimistic
GBAtemp Hype Level: IT'S SONIC

The Four Steps of Being a Desperate Sonic Fan.

1. Sonic game is announced. Fan thinks maybe it'll finally live up to the series greatness it once had.
2. Trailers and info comes out more and more. Some are divided on thinking it's awesome, others are not.
3. Game comes out. Fan downloads/buys it and salivates as it starts up.
4. Game is played. It's either A) Press Right and Jump, B) Fucking werewolves? or C) Crappy gimmicks.
5. Fan is disappointed as game is not as good as Sonic 1, 2, or 3. Waits for next Sonic game.
6. Rinse and repeat.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Developed by: n-Space
Published by: Activision
Release date: November 9th (North America, Europe, Australia)
Genre: FPS
My Hype Level: Will play for 20 minutes before hands explode due to cramps.
GBAtemp Hype Level: CALL OF DUTY SUXXXXX

All the previous Call of Duty DS games haven't been that bad but have suffered from one massive flaw: cramps. Tons of them. And it stops the game from being played for like any more than 10 minutes at a time. It's one of the reasons why I've been hardly able to get through any of them. Side note: This is also the third FPS game on the DS this month from n-Space. Hmm...

999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors

Developed by: Chunsoft
Published by: Aksys Games
Release date: November 16th (North America)
Genre: Adventure
My Hype Level: Not my genre
GBAtemp Hype Level: I'm sure they love text-based adventures.

Probably a game that went under everyone's radar, but 999 is a text-based adventure/puzzle type game that probably will interest fans of the genre. It was made by Chunsoft, who did 428 (which got a 40/40 from Famitsu... Although it is from Famitsu so that changes things a bit) and the Shiren the Wanderer games, so it may be worth it if you're into these kinds of games.

Michael Jackson: The Experience

Developed by: Ubisoft
Published by: Ubisoft
Release date: November 23rd (North America), November 25th (Australia), November 26th (Europe)
Genre: Music
My Hype Level: THRILLER. THRILLER TIME.
GBAtemp Hype Level: Ready to be touched.

Fine, one Michael Jackson joke: "With Michael Jackson: The Experience on the DS, kids are finally able to touch him now." Happy?

Well, I've been sorta wanting this one. I want to see if it's a legitimately fun music game with Michael Jackson's greatest hits or if it's just a shameless cash in. I'm hoping for the first option. Cross your fingers and hope that it's an EBA or Lego Rock Band style music game!

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem

Developed by: Nintendo
Published by: Nintendo
Release date: November 14th (North America)
Genre: Puzzle
My Hype Level: The first one was alright but nothing notable
GBAtemp Hype Level: MARIO MARIO MARIO MARIO

Meh, I've never been a big fan of the Mario vs. DK games. Even the GBA one was average. The DS one was equally average as well, but still worth some time if you're bored. I guess if you're a fan of Lemmings-type puzzlers you'll get a kick out of this, otherwise it's just there for those rainy days.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

Developed by: Camelot Software Planning
Published by: Nintendo
Release date: November 29th (North America)
Genre: RPG
My Hype Level: Meh
GBAtemp Hype Level: OMG GOLDEN SUN IS THE BEST GAME EVER.

I mean, Golden Sun was a pretty good game, but I really felt it just never shined over the rest of the RPGs I've played. It just felt like all the other good RPGs. The battle system was deep but it was just as deep as other games. The story was good but just as good as other games. The characters were interesting but just as interesting as other games. It didn't do a whole lot to give me a kick in the pants. I mean I'll definitely be playing this one but going gah-gah over it? Nope.

Rune Factory 3

Developed by: Marvelous Entertainment
Published by: Natsume
Release date: November 9th (North America)
Genre: RPG
My Hype Level: SNORE Factory 3: A Fantasy SNORE SNORE
GBAtemp Hype Level: They like Run Factory.

I don't know, but Rune Factory seems to be so fucking boring for me. I mean I try playing for more than 15 minutes and I feel like I'm about to pass out. It's just so boring. I guess if some people like farming simulations with RPGs (?) then it works for you but really, it feels like a giant chore for me. I'll be passing.

Super Robot Wars L

Developed by: Banpresto
Published by: Bandai Namco
Release date: November 25th (Japan)
Genre: Turn-Base Strategy
My Hype Level: I love Super Robot Wars series, I MUST play this.
GBAtemp Hype Level: SRW fans : Hooray!!!

Appropriately sized boxart much appreciated.

The upcoming SRW game with mecha series lineup : Gundam Wing EW, Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Combatler V, Voltes V, Evangelion, Macross F, Mazinkaiser, Godannar, Dancougar Nova, Koutetsu Jeeg, Gaiking, and more. What else do you want? I honestly want Getter Robo series to be included, but no matter what I'll play this game. Are you agree with me, SRW fans?

Other titles

- Intellivision Lives!: 11/1 (North America)
- Atari's Greatest Hits: Volume 1: 11/2 (North America)
- Radiant Historia: 11/3 (Japan)
- Beyblade: Metal Fusion: 11/9 (North America)
- Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet: 11/16 (North America)
- Naruto Shippuden: Naruto vs. Sasuke: 11/16 (North America)
- Super Kasekihorida: 11/18 (Japan)
- Drawn to Life Collection: 11/23 (North America)
- Tron: Evolution: 11/25 (Australia), 11/26 (Europe)
- 7 Wonders II: 11/29 (North America)

Overall Summary

Like last month, it's pretty awesome. There's a lot of FPS games flooding the DS so your hands can break, but there is some spice in there with RPGs like Golden Sun and Rune Factory 3. You've also got some puzzling games like Mario vs. DK and 999, and a very "touching" game in Michael Jackson: The Experience.

Unfortunately it seems like next month will be the end of this big uproar in DS games. Nothing really spectacular is coming out outside of the Duke Nukem Trilogy (which seems hit-or-miss at best).

Have a nice November!

The worst part of it all is that the best selling game will probably be the Michael Jackson game [IMG].

I'm pretty sure it's gaga, not gah-gah.

Hell yeah, plenty of new FPS games to play in November! I've been expecting for some FPS games on the DS for quite a while now, and now they're here.

What's Sonic Colors about? Seems similar to some Tetris games. I might give it a try.

I tried Golden Sun (J) and could hardly get to experience the battle system because the intro was too fucking long and took like 10 minutes. Actually, I'm still at the intro...[IMG] But I'll definitely give Golden Sun a try.

Naruto Shippuden...hope this Naruto game is good. The Naruto games I've played on the DS so far are crap.

Marvel Super Hero Squad....maybe.

What?
It's nothing like Tetris! It's just a Sonic game. Like Sonic Rush [IMG].

Fuck yeah Golden Sun! I've been waiting for this for about 6 years ever since I bought a copy of Golden Sun 1 at gamestop used during black friday. I'll probably give the fps's a shot.

o___O. Call of Duty blackops is coming on the DS as well?

I think ill stick to the PC version, unless the DS one is better than the older COD titles.

Also Golden Sun!!! and Rune Factor 3 (Man this is one of my most anticipated games)
