I know it's probably been asked before, but I was looking for one a year ago and nothing came up.. so I'll ask this question again now (I tried to use search but didn't find anything..)

Is there a working DS emulator for a linux OS? Like Ubuntu and stuff?

Well desmume is pretty good atm, and I *think* ideas has a Linux version. AFAIK they work pretty well now. Give them a go, I'll probably have a play soon anyway. :3

Can't you use Wine or something? I'm pretty sure there are Linux users that have gotten it to work before somehow. Actually I'm pretty sure since I was looking a few months ago.

I can use Wine, but it's a bit buggy and sloppy, so I'd rather try a linux build before using wine..Actually I never had a real need to use a DS emulator since I've got my flash cart but since I started developing homebrew on linux for DS I find it annoying every time I've got to test something I have to plug in the sd >_<

I'll give those emulators a go

thanks

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
