DS Battery Life Timer has received an update. For more information please see the change log below.

• Works on 3DS now. Modes 3, 4, and 5.
• Graphics changed. (icon, videos, title screen)
• Five testing modes (press start at title screen for menu): -- sound/nosound -- 3ds/ds -- screen lighton/lightoff
• Less flickering.
• Less chance of crashing.

If the homebrew won't load at all, try it with this program:

Now if you're using Mode 5 on the Timer, the screen is supposed to go black. That's just unique to that particular mode -- it's still working just fine.

This would be quite a good homebrew to find the differences in Battery life in the 3DS. Although, I believe the homebrew would be in DS Mode, so the 3DS's 3D effect would be off preventing us to calculate the time without another device such as a stopwatch, or timer program on another device. It'd be nice to have a chart telling what features turned off would extend the battery life, and for how long.

And yeah I would love a homebrew that tested 3DS mode battery life but, of course, we have to wait for it to be hacked.
