My hopes of a next gen Dragon Quest IX just got WTF PWNED. My interest in the game just got cut in half. Not to say that it won't be a great game, just not as great as say if it were on PS3 :0 (loved DQ8 on the PS2)

its a ridiculously popular rpg series in japan, and the fact the DS is getting the next installment of the series, and not the PS3 is a VERY huge blow to the PS3, sony lost thousands of sales from this announcement.

Square-Enix loves the DS apparently because they just keep making game after game after game for it. The graphics look amazing.

I haven't played any DQ before and my first FF was FFIII DS, how do they compare? FFIII rocked my world, well 32hrs of it anyway =)
