Does the translation patch work with a unpatched Rom only or does it work with a AP patched Rom too?

Sadly, it needs a bit more then that. In the customization menu of the game, you can buy and equip stat buffs/skills to characters and its all description based, meaning theres no way of knowing what any of it does.

I'm getting an error, something about checksum mismatched when trying to patch. I'm using a ROM that's been patched for AP. No go? Only clean ROM?
