Yes it is.

It has to extract the NCAs to decrypt them, but if you install and delete, it will delete the XCI after extraction and before installing NCAs, so you don’t need 3 times the space to install.

Actually dOPUS IS tinfoil in a way, it’s using the same code to process NSP. Could have never done it without the author of this code.
