Looks good, but not finished...

As I see a retail game icon...
Me too. Pause it at 1.33. I can't make out the name of the game.

I think it's the game they always used:

"Tak - The Great Juju Challenge".

Edit: Yes this is it... stopped at the right time...

So they're spoofing a retail cart. I smell a lawsuit.

That's what I fear...

I think the only "almost legal" way to distribute this...

Is to ask people to dump the exploited game...

Then use a little .exe that will put the data on the firmware file, then flash it on their own...

I'm not sure what Nintendo has done is entirely legal either though regarding the cart check. From what I understand your not allowed to place a piece of spyware on any system in certain countries. I think the cart check is a form of spyware myself

Incredible, I have a EZ Flash Vi and a DSi with firmware 1.3E, but I really wanna upgrade the firmware of my DSi and the bootloader of EZ Flash Vi.
Mbmax said in the EZ Flash Forums that this update will come out next week, so only some days waiting left.

Hands down on the EZ Flash Team. Though, I would like to think how Nintendo will block this if the flashcart makers are using retail games. I also like to wonder how the flashcart makers edit retail games and customized it to their own logo and name.

It's not new that DSi flashcarts use a CRC faked game to be able to start.

Why do you think now it's different ? Because of an icon and text ?

After now it's more than sure that updatable cards can bypass the new 1.4 blocking I hope the SuperCard and M3 team will release an update next week, too

Hmmm.. I don't know much about flashcarts (or roms either), so, why can they not alter the icon and title? Is some kind of checksum (or whatever) applied to the game to determine whether it is hacked or not??

It's just a little more obvious than it was before. That's all.
I think that that's just their demo -- they were probably still hacking around and getting it working right when they made that video. I assume that the release version will be prettied up and less obvious and all.

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76

    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, I may probably download fallout 3 or new vegas on my ps3
